 
                              Believers Church Medical College Hospital raised awareness and support for children with Down Syndrome on March 24th. Organized by the Department of Pediatrics, IAP Pathanamthitta, the National Resource Centre for NCDs, and Believers Snehardram (CDC), the event was well-received.
Rev. Father Thomas Varghese began the session with a prayer. The event featured talks by Dr. Geomcy George, Dr. Chepsy, and Dr. Elizabeth Varkey Cherian on Down Syndrome care and its complications. Dr. Chepsy, a hematologist, spoke about the hematological complications of Down Syndrome and the need for regular screening.
A mime performance by nursing students and a dance by Master Adriel George added to the event. Dr. Jijo Joseph John conducted a quiz, moderated by Mary K. Biju, and Aleena Mariam Babu delivered the vote of thanks.
