We hold 42 leveled 3 beds including 4 isolation rooms, 7 bedded isolation ICU in addition to 30 bedded stepdown unit. This setup ensures both privacy and efficiency in delivering critical care services.

What We Treat?
The Intensive Care Unit is an inpatient treatment unit caring for patients with a broad range of life-threatening illnesses including complex brain surgeries, severe infections, kidney or liver failure and more. The unit also treats and monitors patients after complex surgeries, such as brain, lungs operations, GI systems, kidney & endocrine procedures etc.
The Intensive Care Unit provides specialized treatment with a multidisciplinary team of caregivers who monitor and stabilize critically ill patients 24 hours a day.
If a patient is experiencing an emergency, he or she should report directly to the Emergency Department.
Treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
For patients requiring intensive medical attention are typically referred to our ICU from other hospital departments as part of their inpatient treatment plan. In some cases, referrals may also come from the Emergency Department. At the ICU, our dedicated caregivers work closely with the referring department to identify and address the critical medical issues affecting the patient.
The treatment of life-threatening critical illnesses demands the expertise of skilled intensive care medicine practitioners. Depending on the patient's condition, our experienced intensive care consultants may order various imaging studies, such as x-rays, CT scans, or echocardiograms, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the situation. Additionally, frequent blood test monitoring plays a crucial role in managing the patient's illness effectively within the ICU.
In order to ensure comfort and effective care, patients in the ICU are typically kept sedated to manage pain and promote healing. When necessary, antibiotics are administered to control and combat infections, while blood thinners may be used as a preventive measure against clots.
For patients facing difficulty in breathing on their own, external breathing machines are employed to provide the necessary respiratory support. Our ICU is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a compassionate team, working tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcomes for every patient under our care.
