Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior. It helps us understand how people think, feel, and act, and offers practical ways to improve mental health, relationships, coping skills, and overall well-being. Just as the body needs care, the mind also needs support to stay healthy. Illness, pain, stress, and lifestyle changes affect both body and mind. Our department works alongside doctors, nurses, and therapists so patients receive complete care—physical and emotional—throughout their hospital journey.
Patients admitted in the hospital (Inpatients): Support during diagnosis, treatment, procedures, ICU stays, and recovery; help with anxiety, low mood, sleep issues, treatment adherence, and family communication.
People visiting from outside (Outpatients): Counseling and therapies for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families; assessments for learning, memory, and behavior; help with stress, relationship difficulties, lifestyle change, and addictions. Our Commitment At Believers Medical College, we aim to reduce stigma, offer compassionate and confidential services, and help people lead healthier, more balanced lives.
