Believers Hospital Observes World Breastfeeding Week with Awareness Program
World Breastfeeding Week was observed under the auspices of the Neonatology Department of Believers Church Medical College Hospital to create awareness about the importance of breastfeeding for the health of newborns and mothers.Pathanamthitta DMO Dr. L. Anithakumari Varacha Ranam inaugurated the function. Dr. John Valyath, Associate Director, B.Leavers Hospital, presided over the function.
Head of Neonatology Department Dr. Sumita Arun, Medical Superintendent of Believers Hospital Dr. Jom C. George, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Dr. Patsy Varghese and Chief Nursing Officer Mini Sarah Thomas spoke.Dr. Juliet Jones led the class.
