SCISRT 2025 - A trade mark event in the history of Kerala Chapter

Believers Church Medical College Hospital (BCMCH) proudly hosted the annual state conference of the Indian Society of Radiographers and Technologists (ISRT) – Kerala Chapter.

The conference was held on the 3rd and 4th of May, 2025, at Contour Backwaters, Changanassery. The event was formally inaugurated by the Hon. MLA of Changanassery, Mr. Job Maichil, and presided over by Rev. Fr. Dr. Daniel Johnson, Director of Medical Missions. Dr. Geomcy George, Medical Superintendent, Mr Mohan lal bhagath, National President ISRT,  Dr Rijo Mathew National Treasurer,  IRIA,  Mr Salim VS General Secretary KGRA, Mr Sabu Joseph State President ISRT, Mrs Aswathy S Chandran State Secretary ISRT,  delivered the felicitation address.

BCMCH, as the host institution, had strong representation with the presence of Ms. Rosy Marcel, CAO; Dr. Philip Mathew, Deputy Director; Consultant Radiologists Dr. Dani Jose Titus, Dr. Anand Krishna dev and Dr. Mathew Koshy among others.

The conference witnessed an impressive participation of approximately 500+ delegates, including Physicists, Radiology Administrators, Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Oncology Professionals, Diagnostic radiographers, radiology students, industry partners, teleradiology collaborators etc..

The Department of Radiology, BCMCH, served as the Conference Secretariat. The Chief Patron was Rev. Fr. Sijo Pandappallil, Manager, BCMCH, and the Patrons included Dr. George Chandy Matteethra, Director & CEO, BCMCH, and Dr. Remla Beevi, HOD, Department of Radiology.

The conference was widely appreciated for its seamless coordination and organization. The organizing team was led by Dr. Aswin Padmanabhan as Chairperson and Mr. Shijil Joseph as Organizing Secretary. Their efforts were supported by several teams—Transportation, Directorate, Promotions, Operations, Finance, and Dietary.
 A special highlight was the dedicated wellness stall offering free body composition analysis to all delegates.
