HOPE 3.0 - Elevating the Standard of Haematology Nursing Care
Date:  17-07-2026

The Haematology Nursing Team at Believers Hospital, Thiruvalla, organised the HOPE 3.0 Nursing Workshop on 17th July 2026 bringing together nursing professionals from across institutions for a day of knowledge, growth, and heartfelt connection. This was the third milestone in the HOPE series, building on the foundations of HOPE 1.0 and HOPE 2.0.

Welcomed by Ms. Mini Sarah Thomas, CNO, and inspired by Dr. George Chandy Matteethra, Director, the day unfolded through expert lectures, case discussions, and practical demonstrations that addressed the most pressing realities of haematology and oncology nursing.

Distinguished speakers included Ms. Reenu K Mathew (BMT, BCMCH), Dr. Aakash Chozakade (DM, Clinical Haematology), Dr. Irene Mary Ipe (Psychiatry, BCMCH), Ms. Bissi Joseph (IPCN Team), Ms. Sinju (UK), Ms. Sahiya V V (PBDON, RCC Trivandrum), and Dr. Neha Deep (Teleflex) — whose collective expertise spanned haematology nursing practice, CBC interpretation, psychosocial care, infection control, gene therapy, post-chemotherapy management, and hands-on vascular access training.
The workshop closed with a quiz, prizes, and a warm valedictory.
