" Be-Biome" Seminar Brings Together Nation's Microbiome Experts at Believers Hospital

Believers Hospital marked World Microbiome Day by hosting the national seminar "Be-Biome: Exploring the Science of the Human Microbiome," organised jointly by its Central Research Laboratory and the Kerala Government's KSCSTE Centre of Excellence in Microbiome (CoEM). 

Prof. G.M. Nair, President of the Kerala Academy of Sciences and Advisor-cum-Chairman of the Governing Council of Dale View College of Pharmacy and Research Centre, inaugurated the event as chief guest. Prof. Dr. George Chandy Matteethra, Director and CEO of Believers Hospital, presided. 

Dr. Sabu Thomas, Director of CoEM, spoke on the significance of the day and distributed prizes to winners. Dr. Samuel Chithranjan, Dr. Anjali Anne Jacob, Dr. Cleetus C.C. and Rev. Fr. Thomas Varghese also addressed the gathering. Scientific sessions followed alongside paper presentations by researchers and students.
