In a heartwarming initiative, Believers Medical Center, located within the Believers Church Medical College Hospital campus at Alappuzha EMS Stadium, organized a free medical camp specifically for autorickshaw workers. The camp aimed to provide expert medical services to this often-overlooked segment of society.

The event was inaugurated by Alappuzha Municipality Stadium Ward Councilor Shri Ajeesh, highlighting the importance of community outreach programs in promoting public health. Believers Medical Center Medical Superintendent Prof. Dr. Girija Mohan presided over the function, emphasizing the hospital's commitment to serving the local community.

Over 250 autorickshaw workers and their family members from various stands in Alappuzha city participated in the medical camp, which was led by a team of ten dedicated doctors and fifteen nurses. The camp provided a range of medical services, offering participants a chance to receive quality healthcare.

A notable aspect of the event was the distribution of Believers Karunya Sparsham (BKS) cards to autorickshaw workers. These cards provide treatment concessions to poor patients, ensuring that they receive necessary medical care without financial burden.

The medical camp is part of Believers Medical Center's efforts to extend its services beyond the hospital walls and reach out to those in need. The center offers a range of services, including OP, lab, X-ray, ECG, Echo, TMT, USG, and day care, from 8 am to 8 pm.

By organizing such events, Believers Medical Center demonstrates its commitment to providing quality healthcare to all sections of society, particularly those who are often marginalized. The free medical camp for autorickshaw workers is a testament to the hospital's dedication to serving the community with compassion and care.
