PIXEL 2026:Where Emergency Medicine Met the Art of Imaging

The Department of Emergency Medicine, BCMCH, successfully hosted PIXEL 2026 — Practical Imaging for the eXpert Clinician in Emergency Life-threats — on 8th August 2026 at Believers Hospital.

Nearly 70 delegates, including emergency physicians, PG residents, CMOs, and interns, attended the KSMC-accredited CME, which carried 2½ credit hours. 

Following an opening prayer by Rev. Fr. Thomas and a welcome address by Dr. Lailu Mathews, ten hands-on sessions guided delegates through CT and MRI interpretation across stroke, trauma, abdomen, chest, and interventional radiology, with expert faculty drawn from Believers hospital , CMC Vellore, AIIMS Madurai, and Indo American Hospital, Vaikom. 

The programme concluded with quiz rounds by Dr. Anas Salih and Dr. Arun Ashokan, and a vote of thanks by Dr. Arun Ashokan. Organising Secretary Dr. Shammy Douglas Lambert and Programme Coordinator Dr. Jobin James extended their gratitude to all faculty, delegates, and the volunteers and support staff whose efforts ensured the day ran seamlessly.
