Believers Medical College Hospital recently organized a sports injury awareness program to educate participants on preventing sports-related injuries. The event, which drew physical education teachers, athletes, coaches, and physiotherapists from Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Thrissur districts, was led by Dr. John Lysa Nias Daniel, a renowned physiotherapy expert who has worked with the Jharkhand Ranji Cricket Team and previously headed the physiotherapy department for the Under-19 and Under-23 Indian Football Team, alongside Dr. Thomas Mathew, Head of the Hospital's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. The program aimed to promote health and wellness in sports by equipping participants with knowledge on injury prevention and management.
