On the occasion of UN International Youth Day, a year-long prevention and awareness program against drug abuse began at Believers Church Medical College Hospital.
Radhakrishnan, Chairman and former Additional Chief Secretary, inaugurated the leadership council of the Believers Church Medical College Union (SAPTA), the National Resource Centre for Non-Communicable Diseases (NRCD) and the National Service Scheme. Dr. John Valyat, Associate Director of Believers Hospital, presided over the meeting. Believers Church Medical College Vice Principals Prof. Dr. Abel K. Samuel Wal and NRCNCD Executive Director Johnson J. Idayaranmula, Saptha College Union Chairman Anstin Ben and NSS Program Coordinator Prof. Dr. Saritha Susan Varghese spoke.
