Dialysis Empowerment Programme launched

Teams Nephrology and PMR launched the Dialysis Empowerment Programme  , an initiative aimed at supporting hemodialysis patients beyond just sustaining life.

During the inaugural meeting, the Chief Guest, Life Coach, Motivational Trainer, and President of the Cycling Club, Kottayam and the Special Guest, Founder of Lifelong Fitness Center, Ernakulam emphasized the importance of holistic dialysis care.

This first-of-its-kind initiative in the region adopts a multidimensional approach to dialysis care, integrating medical treatment with holistic support.

While the initiative focuses on dialysis management, the program enhances patients' overall well-being through physiotherapy, rehabilitation, and occupational counseling to help patients cope with the physical and psychological challenges of long-term dialysis.
