The Orthopedics Department at Believers Hospital recently celebrated a significant milestone, marking the completion of 100 robotic surgeries. The event was graced by the presence of Olympian Padma Bhushan Shri. P. R. Sreejesh, who formally launched and inaugurated the occasion.
Kerala's first robotic surgeon, Dr. Sameer Ali, was a notable guest, alongside Director and CEO Prof. Dr. George Chandy Matteetra, Head of the Department of Orthopaedics Prof. Dr. Vinu Mathew Cherian, Associate Director Dr. Samuel Chittaranjan, and Robotic Surgery Expert Dr. Nithin Thomas Philip.
During the event, Mr. Mohankumar, one of the patients who underwent robotic surgery, shared his positive experience. As a token of appreciation, 100 patients were presented with commemorative plaques and vouchers. In a gesture of goodwill, Shri. P. R. Sreejesh gifted a signed hockey stick and ball to Believers Hospital.
