Heralding the Arrival of Christmas: “Santa Harmony”

As part of Santa Harmony 2025, Thiruvalla city’s largest Christmas celebration, a grand rally featuring 5,000 Santas brought the city to a peak of excitement.

Santa Harmony was organized under the leadership of the Thiruvalla civic community, with the support of leading hospitals, educational institutions, trade organizations, religious institutions, and sports clubs in the city.

The event, held at the Ramanchira Bypass, Thiruvalla, was inaugurated by Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan. Christmas messages were delivered by Imam Salim Saqafi, Rev. Fr. Biju Payyampallil, Rev. Fr. Sijo Pandapallil, Fr. M. C. Paulose, and Fr. Alexander Koodarathil.
The rally was flagged off by Mathew T. Thomas, MLA.

Speeches were delivered by Archbishop Thomas Mar Koorilos Metropolitan, Kuriakose Mar Gregorios Metropolitan, Sunny Kuruvilla, Rolly Mathew, Tahsildar Jibin Varghese, Jacob Punnose, R. Jayakumar, and Varghese Maman.

The rally, which moved through the city streets, featured various floats by medical students of Believers Hospital, along with Dr. Bilu and the band troupe, the Believers Bike Ambulance, DJ performances, the Margamkali team, and other colorful floats by school and college students. Cultural performances led by various organizations, a bike rally, band sets, and a light show added vibrancy to the procession.

The concluding meeting held at the St. John’s Cathedral premises was inaugurated by Anto Antony, MP.
District Collector Prem Krishnan and Sub Collector Sumit Kumar Thakur also addressed the gathering.
