A Day Dedicated to Vision: Nethram 26

The fifth annual conference of the Ophthalmic Society of Pathanamthitta (OSP), 'Nethram 26', was held with great distinction at Believers  Hospital in association with the Kerala Society of Ophthalmic Surgeons (KSOS).

The inaugural session was led by Dr. Rajeev Sukumaran, President of KSOS, under the chairmanship of Dr. Cherian Shane Mathew, President of OSP. 
Dr. Sathish Thomas, Head of Ophthalmology at Believers Hospital delivered the welcome address with Dr. John Valiattu, Dr. Leena Mariam Varghese, and Dr.  Priyanka Thilak gracing the occasion. 

The event was marked by two prestigious honours: the Dr. Mathew Oonnukal Oration Award, presented to Dr. Meenakshi Swaminathan for her remarkable service to Paediatric Ophthalmology, and the OSP Lifetime Achievement Award, conferred upon senior ophthalmologist Dr. Rachel Jose. 

Eminent ophthalmologists and delegates from across Kerala participated in the day-long deliberations on the latest advancements in eye care.
