Believers Hospital hosted "Empowering the Eventide", honouring our senior citizens and helping them live well in their golden years. It was a joint initiative of the Senior Citizens Fellowship, Niranam–Maramon Diocese, Mar Thoma Sabha; Believers Hospital; and NRC-NCD.
Prof. Dr George Chandy Matteethra's inaugural address carried a simple truth: every age has something to give. Mr Johnson J. Edayaranmula, Executive Director, NRC-NCD introduced the project. Prof. Dr P. G. Philip, Mr Sunny Kuruvilla and Dr Abel K. Samuel Johnson offered felicitations, and Mr George Joseph gave the Vote of Thanks.
Experts then spoke on fall prevention, lifestyle modification and the Dementia Project. Filled with meaningful conversations and valuable insights, the programme reminded everyone that the eventide of life can be lived with strength, joy and purpose.
