Believers Hospital celebrated International Housekeeping Week

Believers Hospital celebrated International Housekeeping Week with great enthusiasm, recognizing the invaluable contributions of its housekeeping team in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The event, observed as Housekeeping Day, was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Sijo Pandapallil (Member of the Kerala Health Senate & Hospital Manager) and Prof. Dr. George Chandy (Director & CEO).

Distinguished speakers included Dr. Jacob Jasuran (Deputy Director & Head, Department of Pharmacology), Mr. Rajesh Chacko (Head, Operations Department), Rev. Fr. Thomas Varghese, and Ms. Ann George (Head, Social Services Department), who all highlighted the crucial role of housekeeping in healthcare.

The highlight of the event was the award presentation to outstanding housekeeping employees, acknowledging their exceptional service and dedication.

This celebration coincided with the global observance of International Housekeeping Week (September 14–20, 2025), which honors the efforts of housekeeping professionals across healthcare and hospitality sectors worldwide.
