Hearts and Minds: Cardiac Quiz for Nurses
Every heartbeat matters, and so does every nurse who safeguards it.
On 3 October 2026, as part of World Heart Day, Believers Hospital, Thiruvalla, hosted a State-Level Cardiac Quiz Competition for Nurses, bringing together nursing professionals from hospitals across Kerala.
Following the inauguration, the gathering was felicitated by Mr Sunny Kuruvilla, Associate Director; Dr Suresh Kumar, HOD, Paediatric Cardiology; Dr Abel Samuel, Medical Superintendent; and Ms Mini Sarah Thomas, Chief Nursing Officer.
Cash prizes were presented to the winners in recognition of their excellence and commitment to lifelong learning. Throughout the day, the competition carried a warm spirit of friendship and shared purpose, as nurses learnt from one another, cheered each other on and celebrated the knowledge that strengthens every act of care.
