Believers Hospital recently unveiled a statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the Mazhuwangad Bypass Junction, a project undertaken by the hospital to beautify the area. The ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including Thiruvalla MLA Adv. Mathew T. Thomas, who unveiled the statue, and Supreme Patriarch of the Believers' Eastern Church, His Eminence Moran Mor Samuel Theophiles Metropolitan.
Pathanamthitta District Collector Shri S. Premkrishnan IAS delivered a Gandhi memorial speech, and other dignitaries, including Thiruvalla DySP Shri Ashad S, were also present. The event featured floral tributes, a Gandhi memorial song, and a vote of thanks by Mr. Rajesh Chacko, Head of Operations, Believers Hospital. The hospital also completed the construction of a garden and lawn at the junction as part of the bypass beautification initiative.
