In a collaborative effort to combat cancer, "Kerala Can," a flagship initiative jointly organized by Believers Hospital and Manorama News, has joined forces with Alappuzha to host a free cancer screening camp. The 9th edition of "Kerala Can" was inaugurated by renowned poet and film lyricist Vayalar Sarathchandra Varma, who lit the smiley lamp to mark the occasion.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries, including Manorama News Chief Coordinating Editor Romi Mathew, actors Ramesh Pisharody and Pramod Veliyanad, Believers Hospital Manager Fr. Sijo Pantapallil, Hospital Director Dr. George Chandy Matteetra, and Rotary Club of Alleppey Greater President Mrs. Jinsi Rojas.
This initiative underscores the commitment of "Kerala Can" and its partners to promoting cancer awareness and providing accessible screening services to the community. The free cancer screening camp aims to facilitate early detection and treatment, ultimately contributing to the fight against cancer in the region.
