The Mind Matters Clinic, a mental health well-being initiative, was officially inaugurated on 27th May 2025 at the Department of Family Medicine. This initiative, the first of its kind within the institution, is part of the Minds Matter Project - a joint venture by the Departments of Psychiatry, Family Medicine, and Human Resources. The clinic aims to promote mental health awareness and provide accessible support to staff, students, and patients alike. The clinic functions every Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Dr. Chithira Thomas, Senior Resident, Department of Psychiatry, provided a thoughtful Introduction to the Mind Matters Clinic, outlining the clinic’s objectives, services offered, and the vision for integrating mental health support into routine hospital care.
