Dr. Deepak Aravind is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at BCMCH since 2016 with over 9 years of experience in the field. Having worked as faculty at Government Medical Colleges and Consultant in private sectors, he had his post graduate training from Government Medical College, Trivandrum.  He is a life member of the All India Plastic Surgeons Association and Kairali Plastic Surgeons Association.

His areas of expertise includes reconstructive microvascular surgeries, cosmetic and aesthetic surgeries and the management of burns. The department under him provides a wide scope of surgical and non-surgical procedures at including POWER ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION for body contouring, abdominal fat excess and Gynaecomastia, Abdominoplasty /Tummy-tuck, Breast reductions/ Blepharoplasty/ OTOPLASTY, Microvascular free flap reconstructions, Flap surgeries for pressure sores, creation of Arteriovenous Fistula(AVF) for Haemodialysis patients, burn surgeries ,management of Keloids and Hypertrophic Scars.

Previously worked as Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at Government Medical College Kottayam and also worked as Consultant at Matha Hospital Kottayam. Has more than 8years experience in Government and private sector including major trauma reconstructive microsurgery and aesthetic surgery. His fields of expertise include.
