Dr Alphy Christinne Thomas completed her UG and PG studies at Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Thiruvalla. She had a passion for paediatrics right from her undergraduate days. She worked as a non-academic resident in paediatrics for 1 year following which she pursued post-graduation in the same. She was actively involved in undergraduate teaching programmes and interested in research activities too. She has presented papers in state and national conferences and has secured the best paper award for her paper in Kerala State Respicon, 2018. She was also awarded the prestigious Rajaram Memorial Award for best paper in Social Pediatrics at the 48th Annual State Conference of IAP Kerala, 2019, held at Kannur. She has also completed her Fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Paediatrics.

Her special areas of interest are developmental Paediatrics and pediatric critical care.
