Dr. Jacob Koshy is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla. He did his Undergraduate and Post Graduate Training at the prestigious Christian Medical College, Ludhiana and continued working there as a faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology till 2015.

He has also done a Fellowship in Glaucoma at Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, a Fellowship in Medical Retina at Aravind Eye Hospital in Coimbatore and a Phacoemulsification Fellowship at Venu Eye Hospital in New Delhi.

His areas of expertise include routine and complicated cataract surgeries, Complex Anterior segment surgeries, Glaucoma, and Medical Retina. He has done more than 15,000 surgeries till date.

He is a compassionate and caring Surgeon.

He has 18 indexed Publications in National and International journals.

He is currently also the Dean of Undergraduate students at Believers Church Medical College.
