Dr. Abbey Mathew is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology with over a decade of experience. He is an expert in delivering definitive anaesthetic and post anaesthetic care for patients undergoing major emergency surgeries. Before joining BCMCH, he worked at Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Chennai.

He did his MBBS from Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Medical College, Salem and MD Anaesthesiology from Rajah Muthiah Medical College & Hospital. He also has half a dozen paper publications to his credit which evinces his research interest.
