Leya Elizabeth Kurian, a seasoned Medical Speech Language Pathologist (Med SLP) certified by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), is a passion driven professional committed to working with adults and geriatrics from a variety of patient populations. She has experience in identifying, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring disorders and is looking to expand her career in the healthcare sector by using her knowledge and abilities to provide high-quality, evidence-based interventions to people with communication, voice and swallowing disorders. Her work spans both rehabilitation institutions in India and overseas. She works at the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) division as a Med SLP at the moment. She is committed to raising awareness of safe swallowing practices, teaching others, and promoting well being among individuals from diverse backgrounds.
