Dr. Lydia Jacob is an enthusiastic and compassionate consultant in geriatric medicine. She is a competent and caring physician specially trained in the area of the elderly. She graduated from the prestigious Madras medical college, Chennai, and went on to complete her MD in Geriatrics from the same institution.

With half a decade of experience in geriatric medicine, Dr. Lydia’s area of interest includes managing medical illness of the elderly with special attention to treating geriatric syndromes like falls, memory loss, frailty, sarcopenia, dizziness, and polypharmacy.

Improving the quality of life and maximising functional status is the core concept of Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Lydia strives to develop a department which gives holistic care to the elderly and enables them to achieve healthy and successful aging.
