Head of the Department of Cardiology, trained at Christian Medical College, Vellore, she is a skilled Interventional Cardiologist and a caring, astute clinician. With nearly a decade of experience in complex cardiac interventional work, she is an expert in both adult and paediatric diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Under her leadership, a Cathlab meeting international standards and equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, including all newer imaging modalities (IVUS and OCT), DFR, and Plaque Modification Technologies (Rotational Atherectomy, IVL), was established at BCMCH.

Recognized by the prestigious International Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) for her outstanding contributions in the field of Cardiology. She led the team that did the First Leadless Pacemaker Insertion in this region. Having qualified through experience in interventional cardiology, she has been elected as a fellow in the society for cardiovascular angiography and interventions (SCAI).
