Overview

The Department of Neonatology at Believers Church Medical College Hospital is a Level–III unit, providing comprehensive care for newborns delivered at our facility or referred from other hospitals. We specialize in managing a wide range of neonatal conditions, from extreme prematurity at 24 weeks' gestation to full-term infants, including multiple births and complicated deliveries. Our team is equipped to handle major issues such as extreme prematurity, congenital anomalies, and cardiac conditions requiring surgery. As the only hospital in Central Travancore offering this level of neonatal care, we are committed to delivering the highest standard of medical support to our young patients.

Our dedicated team of Neonatologists, along with highly trained and compassionate nursing staff, provides round-the-clock care for delicate newborns. With a 24x7 presence of senior neonatologists on the floor, we ensure immediate response to all emergencies. Our unit is equipped with advanced technology and facilities to perform critical neonatal procedures and support services.

We also benefit from excellent backup support from various pediatric specialties and other medical departments, ensuring a holistic approach to neonatal care. Our hospital infection control team ensures that strict aseptic conditions are maintained in the NICU, safeguarding the health and well-being of our patients.
