Professor and Head of the Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with more than 30 years of experience, Dr.Kunjamma was previously Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Kottayam Medical College. She was the General Secretary of the Indian Academy of Indian Reproduction for 10 years and was the President of the Kerala Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She was entrusted with the task of assessing maternal mortality as part of a Confidential Review of Maternal Health in Kerala. She is a member of Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society of India and UPSC advisory board.
