Intervention Nephrology Expertise

After completing DrNB in nephrology, Dr. Shamnad underwent specialized training in Intervention Nephrology under the mentorship of the Indian pioneer, Dr. J.Balasubramanium. He has expertise in all intervention nephrology procedures, especially in USG-guided fistuloplasty, fistulogram, thrombolysis, permanent catheter insertion, and peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion. Dr. Shamnad played a lead role in setting up the Intervention Nephrology lab at BCMCH, Tiruvalla.
