He is an Assistant professor in the Department of General Surgery. He did his MS General Surgery at Pushpagiri Institute of Medical Sciences. Post MS, he did his senior residency at BCMCH.

He underwent training for advanced Laparoscopic procedures(FMAS, DMAS - World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons). He has also undergone Robotic surgery training by the International College of Robotic Surgeons.

He is a member of 
-Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons( SAGES)
-Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons(IAGES)
-European Association of Endoscopic Surgery(EAES).
-Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland(RCSI) 

Areas of interest include Laparoscopic and Robotic surgeries, thyroid surgeries, varicose vein procedures, and proctology.
