Dr. George Thomas is a Professor of ENT with more than 13 years of experience. He obtained MBBS from Madras Medical College and post-graduation from the world-renowned Christian Medical College, Vellore. He was formerly the Head of ENT at Al Azhar Medical College.

He is a compassionate doctor, an enthusiastic teacher and a researcher. Besides his routine surgeries like endoscopic nasal surgeries, tonsil/ adenoid surgeries he is also an expert in advanced skull base procedures and complex cases in ENT. He is well trained in ear related (otology) and neuro otology problems, micro ear surgeries, Tympanomastoidectomies, Stapedectomy and Ossicluoplasty.

He is also an expert in head and neck procedures and high volume thyroid surgeries with minimal scars. His other areas of interest are voice related problems and its surgeries. He has multiple research publications and case reports in renowned national and international journals. He is one of the editors of ‘Journal of Current Research in Otolaryngology’
