Believers Recreation Entertainment and Arts Klub (B.R.E.A.K)

Recreational facilities for students studying in the medical college needed a revamp. This need led to the idea of creating a truly one-of-a-kind facility named Believers Recreation Entertainment and Arts Klub, fondly known as the B.R.E.A.K. It was inaugurated on November 1st of 2021 at 6:30 PM and is located on the 4th floor of Believers Church Medical College.

The centre has multiple recreational activities, a canteen and a selfie booth. It is a godsend for both the students and the faculty, who have a busy schedule and are always on their feet. Having a good place to rest your mind is an important element to have in an institute that is alive for 24 hours. It also makes the community closer to each other.

We hope that B.R.E.A.K will be a game-changer for all of us in terms of the health and well-being of our students and staff. The facilities that the B.R.E.A.K boasts of include the Gym with all the facilities. A dance room wide and large enough for the medical students to practise or discuss co-curricular activities. The children's play area is filled with slides, toys and is safe even for toddlers. The area is also filled with sports-practising arenas, where anyone can practise or try their hands at games like archery, table tennis, chess, hand soccer and badminton.

The cafeteria has elegant decor and caressing soft warm lights accompanied by its well-made layout with a good menu that caters to both students and adults. The paintings throughout the corner have been done excellently. A facility that will inspire you into the skies as there is no lack of motivational quotes all over the place.

It was indeed the vision of Dr George Chandy Matteethra, Director and CEO, Rev Fr Sijo Pandapallil, Manager, and Dr Girija Mohan, Principal which made this recreational centre possible. Mr. Rajesh Chacko, Admin Manager and his whole team worked tirelessly for the last few months to make this vision a reality.
