Dr. Shanker Ramesh, did his MBBS from Government Medical College, Trivandrum (2010-2016) and MD Respiratory Medicine from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad (2018-2021). He did senior residency as part of the government compulsory rural service (bond), in Nizamabad Government Medical College, Nizamabad (Telangana), and continued the same in Government TD Medical College, Alappuzha. Over the course of his tenure as a postgraduate and senior resident, he gained expertise in pulmonary interventions like tube thoracostomy, bronchoscopy, TBNA, TTNA, thoracoscopy, closed and guided pleural biopsies, management of sleep-related respiratory disorders, non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilator management. His areas of interest are bronchoscopy, thoracoscopy, and lung malignancies.
