Masters Degree Program in Collaboration with George Washington University
The Department of Emergency Medicine, Believer's Church Medical College Hospital, launched its Master's program in Emergency Medicine on the 4th of July. The program was inaugurated by Dr. George Chandy Matteethra (Director and CEO) in the presence of special guest Dr. Teneagne Haile Mariam (Senior faculty G.W.U.), Dr. Jiju Joseph (Chief - Department of Emergency Medicine), Rev. Dr. Daniel Johnson (Director-Medical Mission), Dr. Mohan Verghese (Associate Director), Dr. Vinoo Jacob (Chief of Medical Staff), Dr. Shammy Lambert Douglas (Consultant - Emergency Medicine) and Mrs. Mini Sarah Thomas (Chief Nursing Officer). The Master's degree program will be in collaboration with the prestigious George Washington University (U.S.A.). The ER doctors will receive training from highly qualified experts in the field of Emergency Medicine. This new venture will raise the level of patient care especially in the initial Golden Hour in Trauma, Medical, Neurological and Cardiac emergencies. The Emergency Department, Believer's Church Medical College hopes to reach international standards in terms of patient care and patient satisfaction. The association with world renowned George Washington University is a great boost in achieving this dream.
